Mental Health Practitioner (MHP)
Mental Health Practitioners work with adults receiving Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) to help them build the skills needed to live independently in the community.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing mental health skill-building support in the community
- Assisting clients with coping skills, emotional regulation, and daily living skills
- Supporting recovery goals identified in the client's treatment plan
- Maintaining accurate service documentation
Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Direct Support Professionals provide hands-on support to individuals receiving services such as Individualized Home Supports, Night Supervision, and other community-based services.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities
- Supporting independence and community participation
- Helping clients follow their individualized service plans
- Documenting services and client progress
